What are the covid vaccination requirements for Australia?

From the 6th of July,2022, the Australian government declared that you DO NOT require a covid vaccination to come and/or go from the country. Please keep in mind that some organisations may request your vaccination status, and may have mandatory vaccination regulations in place.

Do I need any vaccinations for Australia?

It is recommended that you have basic immunisations (tetanus, polio, diphtheria),however, these are not compulsory. Find more useful information about vaccinations and safety in Australia on the website of the Federal Foreign Office.

How long does my passport needs to be valid?

Your passport needs to be valid for a minimum of 6 months. We do advice to ensure your passport is valid for the whole time you are planning to Travel as it can give problems to request a new passport while you are travelling outside of your own country.

Are covid requirements applicable when doing a lay-over?

If you are just doing a stop over and not leaving the airport you will not have to worry about additional Covid requirements. If you are planning a stop over and leaving the airport you should check the local Covid requirements for the country.

Do I need a Visa for stop-overs?

If you do not leave the airport during your stop over you will only need a Visa for Australia. If you do leave the airport you will need to check the local visitor visa requirements of the country.

Do you offer flights to Australia?

No we don't. The market is such a competitive market that we cannot compete with the online offers. Basically it's cheaper and easier to search and book flights online by yourselves.

What is the flight duration to Australia?

The minimum flight duration is about 22-23 hours. These tend to also be the most expensive and flight duration really depends on the stop overs and time at stop overs. They can range from 22-23 up to 40 hours.

How much money do I need to go to Australia?

The working Holiday Visa requires you to have sufficient funds of about $5000 Australian Dollars which is around 3500 Euro. As explained in the Visa FAQ's this is only needed to submit your VISA application and after you can use this money to book flights and such.

The amount of money you need to get to Australia obviously is determined by your own travel plans. Below you will find an overview of some of the costs needed to get to Australia.

Flights is around 800 Euro (one-way)
Visa is around 350 Euro
Travel insurance for full year is around 350 euro
Work in Australia guaranteed job package is 895 Euro or the farm package at 2095

So depending on how you want to go to Australia - Farm package or 1 job it adds up 1750 or 3500 euro. Besides this you will need to have some pocket money, we suggest the minimum you should have is between 4000 and 5000 euro needed to get to Australia.
